Abhainn Shira

Abhainn Shira

The Abhainn Shira flows down Glen Kinglas into Loch Tulla. The river was very high on this day and it was still raining when I took this image. The wind was from the west so I set up looking east down the river and so avoided getting rain on my lens. The wee hut is a cabin used by a hillwalking group. I liked the texture and colour of the rock in the foreground and the wildness of the scene with the river in spate and the lowering clouds above.
